The best advice I received this week was “Stay Mad”. (Thanks, Ronnie.) But, mad? I never thought I was “mad” for undertaking the Kili Climb for Life initiative but perhaps a little outside the box. At the same time, I am in complete awe by the adventurous spirit and compelling vision of so many individuals to achieve great things not for themselves, but for others. Today, we are commemorating the 50th anniversary of JKF’s passing. A sad event, indeed. This is not a political statement but simply words of encouragement to all of us to remember his well-known quote and look beyond ourselves to do what we can for others. I would encourage all our leaders – and we are all leaders in our own spheres – to commit to that, particularly today. Make a difference and be a hero…
